European Senior Championships, medaglia per Maddaloni

Ottime notizie per i colori azzurri sono arrivati oggi da Cagliari dove Rosario Maddaloni si è assicurato una medaglia agli European Senior Championships 2026.

 

L'azzurro ha superato nettamente in due set (21-11; 21-13) nel singolare maschile Over 35 il francese Tang e domani per un posto in finale sfiderà il tedesco Lucas Paulsen, che oggi ha sconfitto lo svedese Wigardt, testa di serie numero uno, costretto al ritiro per infortunio.

 

Non è riuscita la doppietta agli azzurri visto che Sabine Doering, in coppia con la rumena Ciuca è stata superata con un doppio 21-10 dalle danesi Andersen e Thomsen.
