Azzurrini da applausi in Slovenia

Azzurrini protagonisti agli Li-Ning Slovenia International Open, in corso di svolgimento a Mirna, in Slovenia.

 

Il doppio maschile composto da Marco Danti (testa di serie numero 4 del torneo) e Simone Piccinin è infatti in semifinale al torneo, dopo aver sconfitto i thailandesi Praphasiri - Tiansirilert dopo tre combattutissimi set (22-24, 21-19, 21-19).

 

Simone Piccinin conquista la semifinale anche nel singolare maschile: battuto il greco Chotoumanidis con un 21-10, 21-15 che non ammette repliche.

 

Avanzano fino ai quarti nel doppio femminile Sofia Galimberti ed Anna Hell, prima di essere sconfitte dalle russe Blazina (testa di serie numero 1 del torneo) - Korent per 21-19, 21-15.

 

Applausi anche per gli altri azzurri, che hanno mostrato una crescita importante rispetto alle ultime uscite.
