Prima giornata di gare per gli azzurrini impegnati nell'I Feel Slovenia Li-Ning Future Series di Ljubljana.

 

Ruben Fellin lotta ma non riesce a prevalere sul portoghese Batalha, che si impone con il punteggio di 21-9, 21-8. Va decisamente meglio ad Enrico Baroni, testa di serie numero 14 del torneo, che vince per 21-8, 21-9 sullo sloveno Spoljarec, strappando applausi anche al pubblico di casa.

 
Vittoria nel primo turno anche per Emma Piccinin, che supera dopo un’autentica battaglia la polacca Gorniak (21-18; 22-20).
