Youth Olympic Games 2018, Toti cede contro il cinese Shifeng Li

Al termine di 33 minuti di incontro l’azzurrino Giovanni Toti ha ceduto in due set (21-14; 21-7) contro il cinese Shifeng Li nel secondo match degli Youth Olympic Games di Buenos Aires.

 

Il cinese, testa di serie numero cinque e favorito alla vigilia per il passaggio del turno, affronterà domani il belga Carraggi per chiudere al primo posto nel girone mentre Toti sfiderà lo spagnolo Toledano per conquistare la seconda piazza nel raggruppamento.

 

“Se Giovanni domani riuscirà ad imporsi sull’iberico Toledano, potrà chiudere al secondo posto nel girone - le parole del Direttore Tecnico, Arturo Ruiz -, un traguardo importante che necessita della giusta attenzione in una sfida che si annuncia molto competitiva ed affascinante”.
