Yonex Welsh International Open, Vittoriani conquista i sedicesimi di finale

Continua il momento magico di Christopher Vittoriani.

 

L'azzurro, reduce dalla terza vittoria consecutiva del titolo di campione d'Italia nel singolare maschile, conquista i sedicesimi di finale allo Yonex Welsh International Open, in corso di svolgimento a Cardiff, in Galles.

 

Vittoriani ieri aveva superato brillantemente i primi due turni di qualificazioni, battendo in due set il norvegese Skov e l'inglese Jensen, oggi è ripetuto battendo l'inglese Parth Mehta con l'eloquente 21-11, 21-12.

 

Domani l'esordio nel tabellone principale: ad attenderlo - nel primo pomeriggio - lo svizzero Tobias Kuenzi, numero 1 del tabellone.
