Si ferma agli ottavi di finale il percorso di Fabio Caponio al Victor Turkiye International Challenge, in corso di svolgimento ad Istanbul, in Turchia.

 

L'azzurro, testa di serie numero 5 del torneo, dopo aver superato brillantemente i sedicesimi battendo in due set (21-16, 21-7) lo svizzero Scheiwiller, si deve arrendere, dopo una vera e propria maratona, all'indiano Gupta, che la spunta in tre parziali (23-21, 17-21, 21-18).
