European Mixed Team Championships, Israele passa per 3-2

Nell'ultimo match del gruppo di qualificazione dell'European MIxed Team Championships gli azzurri hanno ceduto il passo per 3-2 a Isreaele.

 

Israele si è portato subito in vantaggio con i singolari vinti da Misha Zilberman e Ksenia Polikarpova rispettivamente contro Giovanni Toti (21-18; 21-9) e Yasmine Hamza (23-21; 21-14). A rimettere in pari la questione ci hanno pensato nei primi due doppi Giovanni Greco e David Salutt, che hanno sconfitto Maxim Grinbalt e Ariel Shainski (21-15; 21-13) e con Yasmine Hamza e Judith Mair che hanno superato Dana Kugel e Heli Neiman (21-11; 21-15).

 

Nel match decisivo è stato fondamentale il terzo set (21-17; 12-21; 16-21) che ha visto prevalere Misha Zilberman e Ksenia Polikarpova su Gianmarco Bailetti e Martina Corsini.
