Brillano a Rishon Le Zion le due stelle azzurre che riescono a conquistare il pass per gli ottavi di finale.

 

Enrico Baroni centra l’obiettivo superando prima l’israeliano Yoav Amit in due set (21-8; 21-10) e poi avendo la meglio sempre in due set (21-19; 21-14) del Russo Mikhail Shepyrev.

 

Più complesso il match di Giovanni Toti, che opposto all’estone Hans-Kristjan Pilve ha avuto bisogno del terzo set (18-21; 23-21; 21-18) per vincere l’incontro.

 

Domani Toti se la vedrà contro il croato Luka Ban mentre Baroni sfiderà l’estone Kark Kert.
