Santo Domingo Open, Caponio è in semifinale

Un'altra medaglia certa per Fabio Caponio, che nella serata di ieri ha staccato il pass per la semifinale di singolare maschile del Santo Domingo Open.

 

L'azzurro ha centrato questo traguardo superando in due set (21-12; 21-15) il cinese di Taipei Kuo Li-Chun e oggi cercherà di avere la meglio sul brasiliano Jonathan Matias, testa di serie numero uno del tabellone.

 

Gli azzurri hanno sfiorato la doppietta in semifinale con Giovanni Toti che si è fermato ad un passo dall'obiettivo venendo superato in tre set (21-14; 10-21; 21-14) dallo statunitense Mark Shelley Alcala.
