XVI Giraldilla International: Maddaloni ai quarti

TDS7447L'Avana - L'atleta Azzurro Rosario Maddaloni accede ai quarti di finale del singolare maschile del XVI Giraldilla International a Cuba superando agilmente in due set (21-16; 21-7) il Turco Enis Sesalan. Domani l'atleta Campano dovrà affrontare il numero uno del seeding, il padrone di casa Osleni Guerrero.

Non riesce l'approdo ai quarti agli altri due atleti Azzurri. Giovanni Greco perde dopo un'avvicente partita conclusa solamente ai vantaggi del terzo set (21-18; 18-21; 24-22) contro il Turco Sinan Zorli mentre Matteo Bellucci si è arreso in due set (21-15; 21-13) al Guatemalteca Humblers Heymard.

Domani inizierà anche l'avventura nel doppio maschile per i due atleti delle "Fiamme Oro", Greco e Maddaloni, teste di serie numero 1 del tabellone.
