III Mercosul: Rosario Maddaloni e Jeanine Cicognini agli Ottavi

TDS7447Foz do Iguaçu - L'atleta Azzurro Rosario Maddaloni, supera in due set (23-21; 21-8), il numero 67 al mondo lo Statunitense, Bjorn Seguin e accede agli ottavi nel singolare maschile del III Mercosul in Brasile.

Stasera alle 22.00 sfiderà il Canadese Martin Giuffre per guadagnarsi un posto agli ottavi.

Anche Jeanine Cicognini nel singolare femminile conquista il pass per gli ottavi superando agevolmente in due set (21-9; 21-14) la Peruviana Luz Maria Zornova, tornerà in campo alle 23.15 contro la Francese Teshana Vignes Waran. Invece precedentemente Giovanni Greco ha perso in due set (21-13; 21-11) dal Brasiliano Daniel Paiola nel singolare maschile.
